My client is a leading multinational company that keeps critical technology running 24/7. They are an innovate company and are always the first company to bring out new technology within this market. Among their clients are largest names in multiple industries both public and private sectors bring new capacity online faster and at a lower cost than their competitors. My clients portfolio spans power, thermal and infrastructure management products, software and solutions, and is complemented by a network of nearly 250 service centres worldwide.

The successful candidate will work closely with large variety of businesses and organisations in order to provide excellent service to the generator industries. You will be used to technical sales and able to explain complex systems to clients and engineers. In addition to this you will be excellent at building relationships with all types of stakeholders to ensure the company's portfolio reaches the entire market for the south of England.

During your day to day work you will be supported by an internal sales colleague and you will take responsibly to leading your team to achieving and exceeding targets and KPI's

Key responsibilities:

-Take responsibility for the overall sales strategy for the Key Accounts
-Identify new and existing ways to develop the companies market across the whole solutions portfolio increasing market share.
-Develop relationships and understand customer's needs and influence our internal capabilities to meet these needs;
-Work across a variety of functions (engineering, sales, marketing, operations, service, etc.) to ensure proposal and delivery of optimal solutions.
-Contribute ideas and teamwork to continue moving the company forward.
-Maintain and update reporting systems,
-Run scheduled and ad-hoc analysis,
-Participate in team meetings and share your customer experiences,
-Share new knowledge you gather about the market, competitors and challenges you have faced.
-Participate in industry events and acquire knowledge of where the market is going,
-Keep up to date with technical developments, participate in sales trainings and apply the knowledge in your day to day work.

Person Requirement

*University degree, (mechanical engineering preferred)
*Minimum 5 years' experience in Technical Generator Sales, project management or business development and strong understanding of account management.
*Proven expertise in building and maintaining partnerships with key decision makers throughout the Generator industry.
*Strong Technical knowledge of Generator industry, including current trends and future direction
*Experienced in leading successful teams, with the ability to help others achieve their goals.
*Wider knowledge of the critical infrastructure market (UPS, Thermal management/HVAC, Battery tech) is highly advantageous.
