This position involves the repairing and overhauling of mechanical/electrical environmental control system aircraft equipment.

Early Shifts
Full time


Initial testing and fault diagnostics, stripping down and identify parts for replacement or rework.
Placing parts requirements and evaluation findings data on SAP ERP system.
Re-build and test ECS equipment in accordance with component maintenance manuals or aerospace drawings and test schedules.


Required to have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship, preferably in the aerospace sector, or show relevant experience in aerospace component work.
Good electrical, mechanical and pneumatic aircraft component knowledge.
May require related experience and be able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within an Aerospace R&O/Production environment.
Good computer skills
Knowledge and or experience in Lean or Six-sigma practices such as 5'S is desirable

Qualities required:

Has the ability to work on own initiative using component maintenance manuals and Aerospace drawings.
Able to work to pre-established procedures to perform the functions of the job.
Work in a team environment and actively looks for ways to continuously improve.
Willingness to change, and embrace change, as processes improve and evolve.
The ability to be flexible between product lines will be expected.
