Sales Leader - Battery Energy Storage
Role & Requirements:
The successful candidate will sell energy storage control technology developers and owners of battery management services, in addition to this they will also develop battery projects from scratch.
In order to be able to do this the successful applicant will have a strong background in sales and a proven track record of selling energy related services or products in large energy consumers. They will also have a wider understanding of power industry developments/ challenges of battery technology and site development.
The role requires an experienced candidate with excellent rapport building and interpersonal skills with a requirement for national and possible international travel.

Responsibilities:

Sales / Business Development
*Develop and expand the companies pipeline of behind the meter battery storage projects
*Locate and identify suitable sites for the installation of battery management services
*Approach new and existing customers by all means of communication building a lasting relationship with them.
*Sell the companies services to developers and asset owners
*Respond to incoming inquires for battery management services
*Grow and develop existing network of third party contacts
*Represent the company promoting the services at conferences and exhibitions.
*First point of contact on energy storage

Project Management
*Execute hand-over to project management
*Support (where required) planning permission, grid application, lease

Personal Skills & Aptitude:
*Strong sales ability
*Contract closing ability
*Ability to understand and guide internal customer policy/politics
*Experience in selling energy related products and services to large energy customers
*Experience in managing multiple stakeholders towards a common goal
*Comfortable in working independently
*Highly motivated individual
*Commercially aware
*Ability to work as part and lead a team
*Excellent customer management skills
*Strong communicator
*Technical background
