Role: Sales Manager UK
My client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their team in the UK they will be responsible for making the contact for the sale of all products and services in the UK for the company. In addition to this they will also report budgets potential, potential leads to the General Manager for UK.
The role will have a UK wide remit and will be home based.
The successful candidate will make new introductions and manage the relationship on a local level understanding the culture and language. Help to grow the company's market share in the UK and increase brand awareness in the market
*Make introductions and find potential orders using local knowledge and existing customer relationships.
*Ensuring the plant's contractual terms and conditions, prices, etc. are explained to the customer.
*Arrange meetings and coordinate with the plant for FAT's.
*Ensuring budget set for travel, accommodation, sales events, etc is adhered to. Planning and executing
*Forecast of short / medium term opportunities
*Ensuring the plant meets the commitments it has made to customer,
*Chasing design teams and tendering for outstanding quotations and tenders and ensuring on time payment as per the contract by customer.
*Accompany customers on site visits.
*Market Information Assessing new projects, customer developments and strategic direction, size and competitors, normal sales prices
*Ensuring the plant is focused on delivering on time tenders or quotations to meet your customer's requirement.
*Maintaining Local Market & Market Development Knowledge.
*Relationship management - Ensure any customer issues/problems/complaints are related quickly to the plant and chasing the plant for a speedy resolution suitable to the customer relationship.
*Ensuring the plant is fully aware of the customer expectations and that all contacts are updated to the plant
*Qualification in Sales & Marketing or Engineering
*5 years in electrical industry
*Excellent organisational and time management skills
*Ability to travel
*Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
