Senior Analytics Specialist, Energy Efficiency


Core Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations (Dashboards) by integrating various data sources
  • Communicate insights from analytics to business users and decision makers
  • Mine large datasets with Python /R
  • Develop web apps with python flask framework and React JS
  • Develop and maintain automated data acquisition processes from primary and secondary sources, and build scripts that are flexible and scalable
  • Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or self-initiated curiosity
  • Perform other related tasks and assignment as required


Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree


Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analytics, economics or related quantitative fields with 5 years business experience
  • Master's Degree MBA or related Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analytics, economics, or related quantitative fields And with 4 years of business experience.


Required Work Experience

  • Minimum of four years business experience in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analytics, engineering, or related field Required
  • Exposure and understanding of Unstructured data, IoT and Big Data Required
  • Ability to leverage Python and R machine learning packages to solve business problems Required
  • Extensive knowledge and development in prediction, classification, clustering, segmentation,time series forecasting and computer vision algorithms Required
  • MS SQL / PostgreSQL Preferred
  • Tensorflow, Keras Preferred
  • AWS, MS Azure Preferred
  • Tableau,D3.js,Oracle Visualizer, Plotly Dash Preferred
  • Experience in the utility and/or energy industry Preferred


Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
  • Must be willing to travel inside and outside the Company service territory as needed.
