My client is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join their team in the Dubai office. This opportunity is available for both local and expatriate applications. The successful Energy Storage Consultant will be responsible for providing technical support the Solar and Storage (SAS) team with Energy Storage related consultancy services.
With this unique opportunity, you will have an opportunity to experience working with diverse customers in the Middle East playing a crucial role in the delivery of energy storage related projects. In addition to energy storage this opportunity will also provide you with the opportunity to be involved with other energy related projects including solar and grid connection projects.
Most of the work is desk based, but some site and Customer visits, as well as potential international travel will be required.
The main duties of the successful candidate will include but not limited to.
*Fulfilling energy storage related projects including compiling data analysis, modelling, report writing, technical due diligence and presenting.
*Project manage energy storage projects
*Defining minimum specifications of Battery Storage Systems
*Undertaking feasibility studies and the impact of Battery Storage projects will have on the grid
*Preparing tenders and proposals to win new business
*Preparing marketing material for the client and creating and presenting presentations on the market to stakeholders and clients.
*Effective networking within energy storage and solar market to find new project opportunities.
*Gain market share within the Middle East to open new opportunities
*Degree in Engineering or similar (electrical engineering is preferred)
*A minimum of 5 years' experience within Energy Storage and application of storage projects.
*Excellent knowledge of transmission & distribution networks and experience in load flow modelling
*Experience within renewable technology such as solar PV technology,
*Ability to manage and develop projects effectively and develop and produce energy production assessments
*Established ability to produce clear written reports and communicate verbally in English
*Business Development experience
*Good IT skills, and experienced in using MS Office suite packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
*Excellent time management skills with demonstrable ability to deliver complex tasks when under pressure and working to tight timelines
*Adaptability and able to cope with a wide variety of tasks
*Strong analytical skills and Cooperative spirit
