Spencer Ogden are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer to be based in Southern Germany.

We are working with a pioneer in the energy sector who are at the forefront of innovation. With their Energy storage solution they are leading the charge in how we manage our energy and lower our carbon footprint. Due to the business rapidly growing they are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

As the successful candidate you will be working with their clients in creating and implementing unique and bespoke power systems for their energy storage solutions. You will be responsible for the conception, programming, documentation and maintenance of embedded software packages for inverter systems of stationary energy storage devices. You will perform complex requirements analyses independently and take the planning
and estimation of the resulting task packages as the basis of the specification
independently.

To be considered you will poses the following:

  • Degree education in Computer Science or Electrical engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in software development for Control Systems
    / Embedded Systems in an industrial environment
  • Extensive experience in energy power systems
  • Extensive knowledge in battery and storage solutions
  • Experienced use of the programming languages C, C ++ and C #
  • Good simulation skills in Matlab / Simulink
  • Extensive knowledge of real-time operating systems such as VxWorks
  • Excellent communications skills (English and German)
  • Stakeholder management
