A $13billion, leading global technology manufacturer are looking for a new senior industrial account manager.
Working alongside the UK Distribution Account Manager, this key role covers business development within the industrial market segments specifically relating to forthcoming UK investments in Rail, Renewable Energy, Power Transmission, Data Centres and other future development segments such as Energy Storage.
The role will be home-based but regular visits to UK wide offices will be required.
*Complete market analysis and develop comprehensive business plans to catalyse revenue growth in the relevant market segments.
*Create comprehensive market maps of the various segments and identify areas of opportunity.
*Identify, build relationships and qualify key developers, consultants and decision makers for each of the segments.
* Gain an understanding of the supply chain and the decision-making process for the various segments.
*Identify new product development and manage through the internal product management functions.
*Drive the specification, approval and preference for products relevant to each of the targeted market segments with key decision makers.
*Provide customer and competitor intelligence relating market conditions (price, new developments, investments, etc).
*Provide detailed market updates during internal Sales review meetings
*Education to at least HNC/HND level in an Engineering discipline
*Knowledge of the identified Industrial target Markets (Rail, Renewables, Power Transmission, Data Centres, Energy Storage).
*Knowledge of Energy Cable Accessory Products (but not essential)
*5 years + experience and demonstrated success in a Business Development role(s)
*Experience within any of the aforementioned market segments would be a significant advantage.

*Have a flexible approach as there will be extensive travel within the UK requiring the applicant to hold a driving license.
