Our client is a global market leader that has recently developed an exciting new technology that has allowed them to heavily invest into global MEGA construction projects. For this, we require a senior CAPEX/Project/Investment Procurement leader with the ability develop and coordinate the global CAPEX purchasing strategy and negotiate with large suppliers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established yet rapidly growing organisation with ambitious global expansion plans whilst leading Procurement for complex and exciting construction projects. Upon project completions there are strong career development plans for the successful candidate with a scope for growth within the Procurement department. This position will be based full-time at the company's HQ in North-West Austria and requires EXCLUSIVELY German speaking candidates.

Senior Investmnent Purchasing Manager:

  • Develop the global purchasing strategy for MEGA Capital Projects
  • Negotation and contracting with large EPC contractors and CAPEX suppliers
  • Coordinate purchasing initiatives
  • Ensure compliance and sustainable Purchasing processes
  • Identify local and global purchasing synergies

Please submit an application only if you meet the following requirements:

  • FLUENT in German
  • 15+ years of total experience in Procurement/Projects
  • 10+ years Procurement/Management experience in Large Capital Global Industrial Projects (Projects €100million+)
  • Strong negotation skills having negotiated on contracts and/or managed budgets of €100million+
  • Proficient with global EPC/CAPEX suppliers and multicultural teams/stakeholders
  • Existing track record of savings through strategy development and implementation
  • Strong character and ability to achieve company agenda with new large suppliers
  • Excellent stakeholder-management skills, ability to influence fellow project leaders
  • Ambition to grow and develop within a growing company
  • Critical approach - able to analyse, innovate and ultimately optimise processes
  • Ability to work full-time in Upper Austria
