Develop and deliver product vision, strategy and business model & business strategy to enable profitable revenue growth.


Essential Functions:

*Develops and shares a cogent product strategy to support the product vision and corporate strategy.
*Clearly articulates the goals, the product definition, the target market, how the product meets the customer needs, the competitive strategy to outsmart the competition, the distribution strategy, the sustainable value proposition and why it is defensible, the software & technology strategy that underpins the product, and the revenue model. Also, champions organic growth strategy of products, and the investment tradeoffs across a portfolio of products. Generates, owns and adheres to a roadmap.
*Defines, builds and nurtures the processes required to encourage the product management team to innovate in product strategy.
*Defines, builds and nurtures the processes required to encourage the product management team to innovate in product requirements.
*Develops and shares the business model and business strategy for a product suite that generate and expand profitable revenue.
*Clearly articulates the assumptions that underline the economic logic that explains how value is delivered to a customer at an appropriate cost, where this value is delivered in the customer value chain, and why this value is sustainable and defensible. Owns and tracks the revenue P&L for product ensuring that the P&L objectives are met.
*Establishes and maintains a plan to validate underlying assumptions through customer observation and through lightweight product development and R&D initiatives.
*Defines, builds and nurtures the processes required to encourage the product management team to innovate in business model definition.

Requirements:

*10+ years of experience in product management including managing at least one product across the entire product management lifecycle.
*Experience leading, managing, developing, hiring, and mentoring at team (12+).
*Experience in strategic partnerships, business development and program delivery experience preferred.
*Experience in technology, data science and/or software architecture preferred.
*M.S. or MBA degree preferred.
