Human Resources is seeking to hire a Sr. Specialist to join the HR Service center team. The ideal candidate must be a highly motivated individual who demonstrates a strong commitment to the Company's Values and Mission. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years PeopleSoft HCM or CRM experience or a High School Diploma/GED with minimum of 8 years PeopleSoft HCM or CRM experience. 4 years of PeopleSoft HCM Workforce Administration, Benefits Administration or PeopleSoft CRM HR Help Desk is required. Relevant work experience should include a minimum of 2 years PeopleSoft CRM. Hands on knowledge of the PeopleSoft HR Help Desk module would be a definite plus. Must be experienced assessing business requirements, developing queries, analyzing data, writing functional specifications, troubleshooting system defects, conducting testing and maintaining system configurations. Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; good communications, presentation and project management skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience in PeopleSoft query and SQL user are preferred.
The Senior Specialist will provide quality assurance support to the Human Resource Service Center and ensure the integrity of data transactions in myHR Connection and the HR Payroll System. Perform post-transactional reviews, monitor the effectiveness of myHR Connection, implement changes and assess new requirements as they develop. Maintain documentation protocols, system testing and troubleshooting. Monitors the effectiveness of myHR Connection and develops solutions and provider groups to increase the usage of the system. Assists with creating new solutions for the knowledge base in myHR Connection. Conducts workshops and presentations about myHR Connection to provide training and increase awareness. Helps HR Service Center staff understand how myHR Connection and HR Payroll works and assists with resolving operational issues. Respond to inquiries from internal and external auditors. Demonstrates a professional demeanor and confidence dealing with all levels of management/union personnel and the ability to work through sensitive confidential issues. Performs post-processing reviews of a sampling of transactions and correspondence to determine accuracy, quality, and responsiveness and provides objective feedback to supervisor. Analyze and document organizational change requests and approvals from HR Professionals and communicate the changes to the appropriate system owners for updating. Update the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration testing pool as requested by the operating department in accordance with the HR Guidance Memo. Complete employee data changes and corrections in HR Payroll as requested in support of settlement agreements or to correct data integrity issues. Identifies root causes of recurring problems and streamlines/strengthens business processes within the HR Service Center and other groups within the Human Resources organization. Create or update procedures and processes for the HR Service Center when HR policies or benefit plans are created or changed. Assist with training the HR Service Center when procedures or processes are created or changed. Supervises the union staff as a back-up when the HR Service Center Supervisor is unavailable or out of the office. Perform other related tasks and assignments as required. Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
