What does the role involve?
Achieve sustainable sales growth in Malaysia and to grow engagement of focus accounts within the segments assigned to sales team
Grow the company's engineered solution business in Malaysia
Lead and coach Key Project Managers to win large orders on complex projects
Cooperate when needed with teams in other countries to maximize sales for the company
Cooperate with Business Development (BD) team to generate new specifications through reverse engineering and to convert specifications into sales
Cooperate with SEA Project Management Office (PMO) team to win large orders by leveraging our engineering and fulfillment capability
Through solid product, market and service knowledge, provide business solutions fully adapted to customers' needs to maximize customer penetration
Align territory planning and customer development process to provide clear performance target to sales teams
Responsible for sales budget and forecast preparation and effectively cascade the target to the team members
Guide the team on full line selling to improve product mix profitability and productivity
Collaborate with marketing and segment teams to align all Market Reach fundamentals
Manage the financial status of the segment
Work with regional segment management team to build and execute action plans geared towards maximizing share of wallet in focus segments
Contribute to the mid- and long-term strategy planning for sustainable growth
Manage the sales channels (partners and direct sales force) to harmonize the collaboration and achieve results
Pricing coordination & nationwide agreements with focus accounts in cooperation with Local & Int'l petrochemical Energy teams, MO and BU's
Work closely with sales team across SEA and with Malaysia Management Team to ensure the right resources are in place, to identify new market reach investments and to execute these investments
Master or Degree from a recognized institution, preferably in Business, Civil/Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or business development with at least 5 years in leadership position
Preferably strong understanding in Oil & Gas related business (E&D firms, consultant, and designer)
Strong team player and works well with inter-departmental and inter-company
Willing to drive and develop new market segment creatively and periodically.
Understand the importance of opportunity closure and selling high value proposition.
Good aptitude, mature and ability to adapt to the fast pace of working environment.
Good leadership and interpersonal skills
Passionate in taking care of customers' business interests with strong customer oriented action plan in meeting their business needs
Mobile to travel or relocate to other cities in Malaysia or overseas.
