To respond to growth across the business the company is now seeking to enhance its capability in the design of T&D networks to serve our clients including TSOs and DNOs in the UK.

Primary Job Responsibilities
The successful person will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities.
Working closely with a team of experienced designers and project managers, you will undertake substation design from scheme inception through to commissioning.
With Safety in Design uppermost in your mind, you will be designing cost-effective substation solutions which meet the requirements of the network owner's customer(s) and which are compliant with exacting technical demands required to protect the integrity of the networks of which they will form a part. Involvement in the design generator connections and of private distribution networks is also likely.
You will contribute to a wide range of projects, of both AIS and GIS design, including new build, extensions, asset replacement and network reconfigurations. Teamwork and communication will be of key importance as you will be working closely with other members of the design team (P&C, Ohl, Cables, Civil etc) to deliver holistic, integrated designs which can be constructed and commissioned within very tight timescales. Your ability to bring best-practice and innovation to the design process will also be highly valued.
