We're putting together a team of seasoned professionals who can deliver water and natural resource projects while adeptly managing stakeholder relationships and implementing innovative solutions that balance surface water management needs, environmental requirements, and resource conservation goals.

We're looking for a Senior Water Resources Engineer who's passionate about making a difference and has an entrepreneurial spirit. You'll get to work on a range of public and private projects such as in-stream surface water intakes, screening and passage, conservation and conveyance for irrigation districts, and support projects for hatcheries and NWR.

Qualifications:

An ideal candidate will have the following experience and background:

  • 5-10 years of experience in project management and design of general water resources engineering projects
  • Preferably experienced in designing hydraulic structures, culverts, fish passage and screening, stream restoration, and water pipeline conveyance.
  • Familiarity with civil and water resources engineering, environmental management and permitting, as well as hydrologic/environmental and watershed modeling and simulation is preferred.
  • Proficiency in creating engineering reports and analysis such as pipeline modeling, hydraulic flow determination based on gauge and exceedance data, and HEC-RAS modeling.
  • Complete design phase experience including developing bid documents, specifications, cost estimates, and drawings.
  • Experience in consulting with clients and natural resources agencies.
  • A general understanding of natural resource permit requirements and project implications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
