Spencer Ogden are working with a leading renewable energy systems solutions provider to help them find an EPC Procurement Manager.

The EPC Procurement Manager is responsible for the Strategic Key Supplier management of predefined commodity groups (e.g. inverter, trackers, fixed mounting systems etc). The EPC Procurement Manager shall ensure a trouble-free supply process for EPC project business. Regular optimization/expansion and control of the predefined commodity portfolio through Supplier risks assessments, Benchmarking and Relationship Management.

Responsibilities:

*Key Supplier management for predefined commodity groups (negotiation of terms and contracts with suppliers globally)
*Creation of a supplier strategy in alignment with corporate strategy and support through project departments (Engineering, Legal etc.)
*Regular global observation of new, alternative and advanced suppliers for commodity group
*Costs and performance analysis of commodity group suppliers according to corporate strategy and processes
*Supplier audits and processing of complaints management to the supplier
*Identification and reporting of reached relevant savings, relevant KPI's, quality measures and logistics figures
*Presentation of corporate strategy, project portfolios towards Suppliers, Customers (internal and external)
*Preparation and review of decision templates for the management / cost-benefit analysis
*Risks assessment of the supplier portfolio
*Strategic consolidation of the global supplier portfolio within Global Sourcing

Qualifications:

*A degree in Business Economics, Business Engineering or similar (working experience will prevail)
*At least three years' experience as Procurement Manager in the solar industry
*Strong European network
*Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player, prepared to travel
*Fluent command of English and German
