Spencer Ogden is working with a leading company in the energy industry who plan, construct and operate profitable solar plants worldwide. They are looking for a Project Manager for Micro Grid Projects to join their team in Germany. The ideal candidate will enjoy working within this exciting and challenging industry and will have previous project management experience in the PV field.

Responsibilities include:

*Responsible for planning, project and construction of complete Micro Grid Systems world-wide
*Developing concepts and solutions for Micro Grid Project
*Independent selection of components and tender of trades
*Create calculations plans, part lists and plant dimensioning
*Cooperation, negotiation and find together solutions with national and international customers, partners and suppliers
*Preparation of offers and presentation
*On-Site coordination and on-site reporting
*Planning and operate of various worldwide projects
*Implementation of requirement analysis and evaluation of compiled process solutions, structure and coordination of functional and requirement specification, progress- and budget monitoring
*Building and operate of a simulation environment for the client like: Simulation PV-Diesel Hybrid, Simulation Smart Grid, Simulation in the field of multiply energy application (for example: heat/ power/ cooling system), Simulation in the area of grid management / grid service / grid stability / simulation radiation and power generation forecast
*Coverage the full range of requirements and task concerning questions of grid integration, grid structure, grid quality, network protection, quality of supply in the area of medium and low voltage

Requirements include:

*University degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering training as an electric installer, foreman, technician or electrician
*Project Management Experience in the photovoltaic field
*Good knowledge in control energy and/or in the automation technology and the MS-Office Application (Word, Excel, MS Project)
*Experience in dealing with simulation tools, like Matlab/Simulink/DIgSILENT/Power Factory/ PSSE/ PSLF/PSCAD and similar software
*Excellent knowledge of spoken and written German and English (Spanish knowledge is a plus)
*Teamwork and communication skills
*Ability to take individual responsibility for work
* Willingness to travel
