HR Payroll Support is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated professional with extensive knowledge and experience in PeopleSoft HCM applications. Must possess an in depth understanding of PeopleSoft HCM releases 9.0 or higher. A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years PeopleSoft HCM experience is required. Candidates without a degree must have a minimum 10 years PeopleSoft HCM experience. Relevant work experience should include a minimum of 4 years PeopleSoft Benefits Administration, with a working knowledge of HIPAA interface files and leave accrual processing, Workforce Administration, and Benefits functional support experience. Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, starting with requirements analysis and progressing through functional design, system development, and testing and system implementation. Review and analyze the business environment and identify needed improvements. Work closely with our development team to identify trends, potential system problems and resolutions. Experience assessing business requirements, developing queries, analyzing data, writing functional specifications, troubleshooting system defects, conducting testing and maintaining system configurations is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is also required. Hands-on experience in writing SQL queries in Oracle preferred. The candidate must demonstrate an understanding of the importance of personal accountability and commitment to excellence. Must be flexible to handle multiple work assignments, changing priorities, and meet deadlines. Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication, presentation and project management skills. The candidate must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and assertiveness. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

The candidate must assess how to functionally implement new or changing business requirements within the PeopleSoft application. Develop functional specifications to document system modifications to interfaces, enhancements, reports and business processes. Gain business owner or vendor concurrence on requirements. Develop test plans, test scripts and execute tests to support system patches and updates; major system upgrades/enhancements and defect resolution. Maintain system configuration to support business requirements. Analyze Benefits and Human Resource defects; troubleshoot benefits administration processes, researches and documents system configuration and behavior; test corrective actions and validate corrections moved to production. Maintain/add Benefits Plans and Rates as needed; updates Benefit Programs as needed. Coordinate with outside vendors regarding any interface file changes and issues and develop test plans for any required changes. Must research and understand any regulatory changes that may have a system impact and require program changes. Create and customize queries for the business users based on their needs. Help core users understand how the system works and assists with resolving operational issues. Maintain and modify batch program schedules and work with the business users to clear up any resulting errors. Maintain functional documentation for the PeopleSoft Benefits and Human Resources configuration and processes. Maintain all custom reports, interfaces and enhancements related to Benefits and Human Resources and troubleshoots errors. Schedule interfaces to run automatically and when needed, and initiate ad hoc requests to run them.
