Demonstrate work experience in some of the following areas: Oracle Enterprise Business Suites, Work Management Systems, Supply Chain, Trade labor rates, Enterprise Content Management, training coordination and business process work flow analysis. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Engineering with 5-6 years of practical work experience or an Associate's Degree with 8-10 years of work experience or over 15 years' practical work experience without a formal accredited degree. Practical construction field experience is preferred
The successful candidate will support the strategic business operations of the Construction Organization by assisting in the planning, development and implementation of integral process enhancements via implementation of information technologies and proper training methodologies. These implementations will follow the corporation's standards and procedures. The successful candidate will perform the following coordination activities: - Construction Assistant Training Coordinator - Construction Computer Resource Coordinator - Construction Records Coordinator The candidate will have potential interaction with external city agencies, the Electric Operations, Gas Operations, Steam Business Units, Information Technology and The Learning Center. The candidate must clearly demonstrate competencies in the area of project management, programming and cost management including monthly budget adherence. This candidate will generate project status updates, change management plans, and customer satisfaction reviews. Additionally the chosen candidate will ensure the preparation of detailed training documentation, project plans, including the training and support of business users. Preferred working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Java, C++ and Visual Studio The candidate will assist in providing support and deployment of changes for the following systems Oracle EBS, Logica Work Management (WMS), ESRI Mapping, Tableau Reporting, Construction Permit Tracking System (CPTS), Construction Paving System, IBM Summons System (FileNet), and IBM Maximo. This position will require travel to various company locations as needed.
Must possess a valid driver's license and able to travel to company work sites. Must be able to wear the required personal protective equipment during visits to various work sites. Must be able to visit field sites in all types of weather conditions and walk on lengthy projects. Position may require working nights, weekends, and holidays.
