I am currently representing a Dutch company leading the way in Hydrogen Bromine Storage Systems, they are currently seeking a system engineer to play a vital role in the development of their storage systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete system design, from flow diagrams, programming and validating computer models, creating BOM's and a selection and evaluation of system components up to and including realisation.
The company have developed a ground-breaking low-cost flow battery, thereby reducing the storage costs for electricity to zero. This has been done by using abundant active materials hydrogen and bromine an easy to manufacture cell, and a patented system design. This strategy results in the lowest possible cost for storing electricity.
The company has been active over 4 years and interrogated their first pilot system in the field.
*University Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or chemical Engineering.
*A minimum of 5 years' experience within the industry.
*Working knowledge of certification processes, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FEMA)
*Proven experience and ability to design complex systems
*3D CAD Experience (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, Onshape) with ability to create dimensional drawings.
*Knowledge of low-cost production methods suitable for batch and mass production.
*Good analytical and mathematic skills.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Experience working in a laboratory with the necessary skills and hands on experience.
*Willingness to be based in Netherlands and International travel.
*International experience and fluent in English.
*Excellent training and career progression.
