Spencer Ogden is seeking an entry-level and experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant to start with us as soon as possible; we have plans to grow by 25% this year and are therefore building out our Talent team. This position reports to the Talent Acquisition Lead and is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating the best talent to fill our vacancies in Houston, Denver, Orlando, New York and soon to be Chicago.

We're looking for a self-motivated individual who is eager to learn fast and be a vital part of Spencer Ogden's growth story. The Talent team is responsible for hitting monthly headcount targets and the successful candidate must work well in a fast-paced environment. The role will focus on establishing relationships with key universities and recruiting entry-level candidates into the business.

What are some of your responsibilities?

  • Partner with your Manager and Hiring Managers to determine staffing needs
  • Screen, interview, and recruit entry-level sales professionals on a permanent basis
  • Intuitively source and proactively identify active and passive sales professionals through various sourcing channels and social media sites
  • Conduct thorough phone and face to face interviews to determine candidate qualifications and job requirements
  • Build and maintain a quality pipeline through fostering long-term relationships with candidates and universities across the Americas
  • Provide consistent communication and career guidance to candidates
  • Successfully review job descriptions and analyse client requirements in order to understand the needs of the hiring manager and technical skills required
  • Maintains candidate engagement through various forms of contact, media and events on a bi-weekly/monthly basis
  • Help organize hiring events at each office, which are coordinated and run through the local management team
  • Coordinate attendance at college career events
