Spencer Ogden is seeking a collaborative and outgoing individual to join us as a Talent Acquisition Consultant (internal recruiter). We have grown significantly this year, and will continue to build on our success throughout 2022. This position reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager and is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating the best talent across the UK.

We're looking for a self-motivated, independent individual who is eager to learn fast and be a vital part of Spencer Ogden's growth. The Talent team is responsible for hitting monthly headcount targets and the successful candidate must work well in a fast-paced environment.

In addition, the role will focus on establishing relationships with key universities and recruiting entry-level candidates to the business.

Job Duties

  • Partner with your Manager and Hiring Managers to determine hiring needs
  • Screen, interview, and recruit entry-level sales professionals on a permanent basis
  • Intuitively source and proactively identify active and passive sales professionals through various sourcing channels and social media sites
  • Conduct thorough phone, face to face interviews, and assessment centres, to determine candidate potential
  • Build and maintain a quality pipeline through fostering long-term relationships with candidates and universities across the UK
  • Provide consistent communication and career guidance to candidates
  • Successfully review job descriptions and analyse client requirements in order to understand the needs of the hiring manager and technical skills required
  • Be our subject matter expert and provide valuable insights into our competitors and the graduate market
  • Help organize hiring events at each office, which are coordinated and run through the local management team
  • Coordinate attendance at in person and virtual career events
