To represent the company in a defined area of the UK, dealing with all market segments. To agree a budgetary performance in line with the company's sales strategy and to then plan and execute it.
To develop existing accounts and create new business through strategic sales, using commercial and technical skills. To work with colleagues in the various market areas using a system of Key & Target accounts and Sales Pipeline to achieve sales targets, whilst involving Customer Services in the effort ensuring that they are fully informed of progress and actions so that they can support effectively.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
*Produce a business plan to develop and deliver the maximum sales and profit. * Perform commercial and technical presentations, often at Board level * Visiting and developing Key & Target accounts.
*Identifying, researching, prioritising and securing new business in all market areas.
*Establishing individual relationships.
*Provide technical advice on paint systems.
*Handling potential claims and complaints.
*Understanding the needs of customers and translating these into cost effective specifications.
*Organising trials in association with the laboratory.
*Provide advance information on demand for products.
*Negotiating term contracts for supplies, where necessary.
*Ensuring a product mix is supplied in order to meet the budget for value and margin.
*Liaising with colleagues in Customer Service to develop existing customers and to nurture new accounts * Keeping accurate records and files.
*Meet deadlines for delivery of all reports
*To encourage and develop a team culture both within own team and across the company.
*Achievement of effective communication both within own team and between teams
*Ensure a proactive approach to implementation of all H&S and security requirements.
*Produce servicing plans for new and existing business
*Analyse market trends, identifying opportunities and threats
*Co-ordinating monthly demand forecasts and identifying any major fluctuations.
*On-going SWOT analysis and any budgetary adjustments that may be necessary.
Must have a Technical Background
Minimum 3-5 years Experience in Industrial/Protective Clothing
Must have a VALID UK driving license
