Role: TOP Engineer 

Location: Ireland

Contract Duration: 5-months 

Position Overview: 

Our power generation client is looking for a Turnover Package Engineer to join an exciting power project in Ireland. 

  • The Turnover Package Engineer ensures planning, preparation and coordinator the TOP process from installation to commissioning for mechanical and electrical equipment on Gas Turbine and Combined Cycle Power Plants.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Managing the turbover process between Mechanical and Electrical Installation and Commissioning on site for internaol hand over of systems and subsystems from Installation to Commissioning
  • Reviewing the TOP documentation and implementing TOP process controls control tools and ensure it is updateed on a weekly basis 
  • Inform the PTW Engineer about each package turned ovr to commissioning 
  • Checks together wiht the COMPLEs early in advance the completeness fo each packge in the field before each turnover 
  • Ensure that MTA tool is proper maintaned and updated according to the TOP process 
  • Compile individual punch-lists for each TOP and passes each of them to the QA MGR/Dept for implementation in the Master-Punch list 

 

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • 5+ years' of experience as a TOP Engineer 
  • Experience of the end of Installation and Turn Over to commissioning process for mechanical and electrical equipment on Gas Turbine and Combined Cycle Power Plants
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving capability 
  • Willing to travel worldwide for long term assignments 
  • an engineering degree from an accredited university 
  • International Driving License
