The role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The candidate will be asked to take on many responsibilities due to the rapid growth and size of the company. It is a fast paced, dynamic environment that requires a person that can handle multiple responsibilities along with the ability to communicate with all areas of the business, be technically savvy, and motivated to make the product vision a reality.
Define, prioritize, and drive realization of the security product vision for the company.
Act as the main technical product expert to help development understand the intent of the requirements so that they can build better specifications
Gather requirements from existing customers and potential customers as well as recent evaluators
Ability to translate customer feedback and requirements into user stories with the focus on understanding the problem
Create User Stories and Story acceptance criteria
Work with Technical Product Manager and UX/UI designer to implement a customer-driven user interface
Continually evaluate product capabilities and provide guidance to product roadmap and strategy by following the industry's upcoming technologies for new opportunities and defining a core competency relative to other market products
Communicate key deliverables and milestones to internal and external stakeholders to help facilitate the timely completion of projects
Assist technical support team, and develop and implement trainings and communications that allow partners and internal stakeholders to better understand the products and changes that were made Working Skills & Experience
8-10 years of experience working for a software or high tech security company
Experience building cyber security product teams
High degree of business acumen and technical competency
Strong business analytical skills to develop technical and functional requirement, use cases, user story and other related artifacts
Proven ability to define needs, develop plans, coordinate resources and implement action plans
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications & Technical Skill Requirements
BS/BA (Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or related field); Advanced degree preferred
Security Certifications (CISM, CEH, CISSP, SSCP, GCIA, GCIH etc.) a plus
Strong knowledge of enterprise detection technologies (Endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, Advanced Threat Protection Tools, etc.)
Substantial knowledge and understanding of enterprise networks, protocols and security infrastructure
Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux, etc.) and networking technologies Travel
Travel >20% and may require on-site customer meetings
