As the structural design engineer you will be working and collaborating with a team of engineering to develop designs and analysis of wind turbine blades. You will be responsible for implementing new ideas along with using your computational knowledge to create leading composite wind blade designs for the engineering group.

Responsibilities:
*Create composite structural designs & analysis of wind turbine blades using programming and modeling programs.
*Developing engineering tools to create designs along with improving the speed, accuracy, quality and efficiency of the structural design & analysis process.
*Bring new ideas & concepts to the team to enhance blade metrics.
*Working alongside the testing and other teams to validate processes along with engineering models and materials.

Requirements:
*Must have 2+ years experience with wind blade designing or composite designing
*Masters or PhD in Engineering, Aerospace, Renewables or related fields
*Programming & modeling experience with Python, MATLAB, C & C++
*Experience with FEA & FEM modeling along with ANSYS & ABAQUS
*Must have knowledge with beam, shell and solid modeling theories.
