Wind Turbine Blade Technician (3 Month Contract)

My client, a world leader in large-scale Renewable Energy Asset Management, is seeking an experienced WTG Blade Repair Technician for annual blade inspections and repairs, where required.
We are looking to appoint an experienced Blade Technician who will be based within our Western Region hub.

Reporting to the Blade Manager – Wind Farms, the Blade Technician is responsible for performing field inspections, repairs, and design modifications of wind turbine blades and other composite parts in wind turbines. In addition they will provide technical data from the field and support for design modifications/corrective actions.
Responsibilities will include:
- Coordination & mobilisation of casual workforce
- Payroll – timesheet entry and back-up support
- Document Control
- Data Entry and maintenance of company systems
- Support the Contract Accountant as required
Requirements:
- IRATA Qualified
- Relevant GWO's or similar qualifcations
- GWO Blade Repair Qualified (preferred)
- 2 years Blade Repar Experience
