The role
You will be reporting directly to the Estimating Manager you will have the following responsibilities:
- Adhering to a strict schedule to produce required documentation
- Residential building estimating and assessing building materials
- Producing variations as per customer requests
- Prepare BOQ and take offs
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining existing and building new relationships
About You
- 5+ years’ experience within an estimating residential role
- Diploma or degree qualified
- Proficient in estimating software such as databuild
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of working with residential projects estimating between $500k-$3m in value
- Strong computer literacy – Microsoft systems
- Time management skills and ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and priorities
