This call for services is to deliver the Contract Engineering Lead and Contract Technical Lead roles on a variety of HPC contracts. The client responsible for the technical oversight of the design, manufacture and installation of various systems on the HPC project. This call for services is to carry out the technical lead and coordinate the review of the design of nuclear waste processing systems, supporting the contractor and client in resolving problems, and generally ensuring an acceptable design is delivered. This will continue with the oversight of manufacturing non-conformances, finally ensuring a successful delivery to site.

This will include but is not limited to: production of technical specifications, technical oversight of the tendering process, and supplier oversight, for the Nuclear Waste processing equipment.

 

Essential:

  • Good administrative skills, able to manage and progress open points and technical queries,
  • Experienced in the design of nuclear waste processing systems,
  • IT literate – able to manage activities on various platforms and ensure they are kept up-to-date,
  • Keen to learn and open to working on a variety of different activities,
  • Capable of producing technical specifications, including a sound understanding of nuclear processing regulations,
  • Understanding of the EPR or general PWR design,
  • Experience on the design of the EPR TEP/TEU systems a strong advantage,
