Key Responsibilities:

1. CAD Design and Drafting:

  • Create accurate and detailed civil infrastructure designs and drawings using CAD software.
  • Generate drawings, plans, and schematics for various infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, and other civil works.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to transform project concepts into technical drawings.

2. Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure all designs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest engineering codes and standards to maintain compliance.

3. Project Support:

  • Provide support to project teams by revising and updating design drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with engineers to address design modifications and project changes promptly.

4. Quality Control:

  • Perform quality checks on design work to guarantee precision and accuracy.
  • Identify and rectify design errors or discrepancies.

5. Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive and organized records of design work, revisions, and project communications.
  • Assist in the preparation of design documentation for client and regulatory submissions.


  • Associate's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a CAD Designer, with a focus on civil infrastructure design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
  • Familiarity with civil engineering codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and error-free drawings.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
  • Knowledge of GIS and 3D modeling software is a plus.
