Position Overview: Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

  • The Finance Manager will be based out of our New York office and report directly to the Head of Finance and Investments.
  • Provide crucial support in investment activities, fundraising initiatives, project finance, and capital raise efforts.
  • Possess hands-on transaction experience, with 7-10 years of relevant experience in finance and investment.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, understanding tax equity, and other funding mechanisms at a balance sheet level.
  • Independently coordinate and communicate with investors, while collaborating closely with internal teams.
  • Essential involvement in project development and financing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in finance and investment roles, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with a strong understanding of tax equity and funding mechanisms.
  • Direct exposure to transactional processes and investor communication.
  • Experience in project development and financing within the renewable energy industry is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
