Job Title: CAD Senior Designer - Water Resources

Spencer Ogden is seeking a highly motivated CAD Senior Designer to join a growing and highly respected water resources engineering and planning firm. The position is based out of our San Luis Obispo or Arroyo Grande locations, with the option to work remotely. Key Responsibilities:
As a CAD Senior Designer, your duties will include:
- Collaborating with a drafting/design team.
- Creating construction plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Developing record drawings from field notes and markups.
- Drafting construction details.
- Designing ground surfaces and profiles, pipelines, structures, and mechanical equipment.
- Performing quantity takeoffs of construction documents.
- Supporting various drafting and design tasks as directed by the Engineering Operations Manager and in coordination with a supervising drafter/designer.
Qualifications:
- Education: Significant coursework or a degree in computer-aided drafting and design is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong eagerness and enthusiasm to contribute to a wide variety of planning and engineering projects throughout California.
- Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Please note that we do not sponsor employment-based visas or permanent residence.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $45.00 to $54.00 per hour, based on education and experience.
