We are thrilled to have been included in the London Stock Exchange’s second edition of the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report.
The report showcases the UK’s most inspiring and fast growing small and medium-sized companies, and places Spencer Ogden at the forefront of this success.
To be selected for the list, businesses had to demonstrate not only positive growth in revenue over the last four years, but also significantly outperform their sector peers. The result is a list of companies richer and more varied than ever identified in any other exercise of this this type, demonstrating that the UK has a diverse economy with companies representing over 50 sectors: from architecture and manufacturing, to asset management and food & drink, and from across every region of the UK.
Spencer Ogden has achieved an incredible growth in revenue since our launch in 2010. Our first year saw £3million in revenue, followed by £18million and £30million in 2011 and 2012. 2013 saw the company reach our four year targets to hit £50million in revenue, and recently released figures show £28million NFI, 400 global headcount, and £78million revenue.
The report has received the support of the Government and major political parties; the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne MP; Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Vince Cable MP and Shadow Secretary of State for Business , Innovation and Skills, Chuka Umunna, have all contributed forewords to the report alongside contributions from the UK’s major business associations.
The list shines a light on some of the UK’s most vibrant companies, and as the UK economy continues to recover, these companies are proof of all that the UK has to offer.
