Spencer Ogden expands Perth Office

25 Sep 2017

Spencer Ogden, the global energy, engineering and infrastructure recruitment company, today announced that it has doubled the size of its Perth office and has relocated to London House, Part Level 6, 216 St Georges Terrace, Western Australia (WA) 6000. The Company, whose global headquarters reside in London, has seen tremendous growth in the Australian market since the Perth office commenced in 2013.

“Spencer Ogden Perth entered the WA market during the downturn in local industry, however, our ability to invest whilst others consolidate has afforded us more opportunities to win business in a highly competitive space, “ said James Holden, Australia Country Manager for Spencer Ogden.

Over the past five years, the office has built a $12 million annual turnover business and successfully placed over 500 candidates.

“The Perth team have worked exceptionally hard to deliver sustainable growth in our core markets and expanding here ensures James can continue to support our clients recruitment needs and build on the success of the existing team,” said Tom Reid, Regional Director of Asia Pacific, Spencer Ogden. “Perth is a key strategic location in the Energy, Engineering and Infrastructure environment and will form the foundation of our growth within Australia and New Zealand.”

The Perth office has a collaborative environment that is reflective of Perth’s local culture. From surfboard racks, a astro-turf flooring, beach style furniture and graffiti lockers, this fun open-concept office is a place where staff can come to work to use wireless headsets, mobile laptop stations, play table tennis or ride a bike while working.

"Spencer Ogden chose London House as the location for our new office because we felt the buildings red brick architecture and classical lobby fit out would fit our trademark style," said Holden.

Spencer Ogden's British roots along with its trademark flooring and diner-style kitchen, have also remained intact.
