Spencer Ogden Launches New Energy Jobs App

03 Jun 2015

The Spencer Ogden energy jobs app has had a major reboot, and now features a 100% connected experience for users between the website, mobile site and the app.

Registered users will be able to upload files which will sync with their website account with the improved functionality.

As the energy sector workforce becomes increasingly mobile, our app has been improved and developed to ensure that it truly services those who are moving from project to project in often remote locations, offering a seamless mobile experience to its users.

The Spencer Ogden energy jobs app allows you to search our entire database of live roles from the palm of your hand, and our precise search filters and enhanced candidate profiling mean that you will see a more relevant job flow and more accurate job matching.

The app itself is free to download and use and is available on iOS, Windows, Android and Kindle Fire.

Registering is easy too. Integration with Linkedin enables you to register and apply for jobs using your existing Linkedin profile, making job searching on the move quicker and easier than ever before. You can also use Dropbox to upload your CV in the same way.

John Edwards, Business Development Manager at KeyApps, the developer of the SO Jobs App says, "These enhancements will improve candidate experience on many levels. With the tighter sync to the Spencer Ogden website, particularly the unification of username and password between app and site, KeyApps can focus on further candidate community ungrades. We always strive to push our technology further and we feel this app is a true example of this innovative approach."

We have now expanded into the marine and shipping industry and our Marine sector, along with a more bespoke Drilling brand which sits separately from Oil & Gas, are also now live on the new app.

The app is also more than just a job search and application portal. You will also see more relevant and frequent industry news and Spencer Ogden updates in the app.

Spencer Ogden CEO, David Spencer-Percival says, “ With the Spencer Ogden jobs app, we believe we have created a tool which bridges the gap between innovative design and functionality. The guys that will be using it are often in remote locations with limited internet access, so the fact that our app and its data can be accessed offline once updated is a real advantage.”

Download the updated app today and join the 1000s of people around the world who have found their ideal job in energy.
