We are currently seeking a Fixed Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Kewdale facility. As a crucial member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our essential equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conducting regular maintenance and repairs on fixed plant equipment, including hydraulic press making machines, reformers, gearboxes, machine toning, welding machines, and cable bolt machines.
· Troubleshooting technical issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
· Adhering to strict safety protocols and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
· Collaborating with the maintenance team to carry out preventive maintenance procedures.
· Demonstrating a strong understanding of conveyor systems to facilitate smooth operations.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in fixed plant maintenance with a strong troubleshooting background.
· Ability to work Mon-Fri from 2 pm to 10 pm, with potential for overtime when required.
· Immediate availability for an immediate start.
· Willingness to work morning shifts (6 am - 2 pm) during the first four weeks for training purposes.
· Familiarity with operating and maintaining hydraulic press making machines, reformers, gearboxes, welding machines, and cable bolt machines.
· Knowledge of conveyor systems will be advantageous.
