This company is one of the world's leading offshore wind energy companies, with a portfolio of offshore wind turbines ranging from 3 MW to 15 MW. The company's offshore wind sourcing team is looking for a Procurement Manager who will be responsible for negotiation, fulfilment of the offshore POs, expediting and deliveries of the project. The Procurement Manager will report to the Project Director.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Directing the Project Sourcing strategy for cost, vendors panel, on time PO placement, on time delivery and execution of services.
· Sponsors buyers in invoices treatment, bonds requests to suppliers and purchase order negotiations
· Has the authority to make resolutions in his/her project within the project Sourcing scope.
· Understands the commercial part of the TSA (Turbine Supply Agreement) contract and ensures its flow down terms into Purchase Orders and project subcontracts
· Ensures that all relevant sourcing processes, work instructions and guidelines are followed within the project as well as ensures compliance with Corporate Instructions, Legal, Financial, and Quality directives
· Supports sourcing fulfilment leader for the correct delivery of products and materials on-time and with due quality requirements. Works together with sourcing fulfilment leader on improvement of supplier performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in commerce, engineering or science
- Masters is desirable but not essential
