As we commemorate World Energy Conservation Day today, we reflect on a year filled with significant milestones in our ongoing commitment to energy conservation. This is not just a celebration but a testament to the dedication of every individual and department within our organization to effect meaningful change in our daily activities and operations.

Global Impact through Terrapass Projects

In collaboration with Terrapass, a renowned climate strategy powerhouse, we have invested in three impactful projects, collectively offsetting a substantial 750,000 kg of CO2 to counterbalance energy usage across our global offices. These projects span from preserving Indonesian peatland ecosystems to safeguarding the Papa New Guinean rainforest and its diverse inhabitants, underscoring our global environmental stewardship.

Inaugural ESG Committee: A Platform for Strategic Discussions

In a strategic move towards environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations, we are pleased to announce the establishment of our ESG committee. Comprising ten dedicated individuals from various departments across the world, this committee convenes regularly to explore innovative ways to transform our offices into energy-efficient powerhouses.

Denver Office's Pioneering Shift

Our Denver office stands out as a pioneer, being the first Spencer Ogden office to transition to 100% wind-sourced electric energy. This strategic move is anticipated to save over 22.3 tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions annually, showcasing our commitment to sustainable practices.

ISO 14001 Accreditation: A Global Recognition of Our Pledge

We demonstrate our ongoing pledge to environmental management through our ISO 14001 accredited status. This recognition symbolizes our unwavering commitment to minimizing our environmental footprint on a global scale.

From Desktops to Laptops

Our switch to laptops has resulted in an impressive annual energy saving of 34,664 kWh. This strategic move has led to a remarkable reduction in carbon emissions, slashing 7,177 kg from our environmental footprint.

We believe that small changes can lead to substantial impacts, and this transition underscores our dedication to responsible resource management. As we continue to evolve, we remain steadfast in our commitment to creating a more sustainable and efficient future.
