The Global Energy Transition

In a landmark moment for the global energy transition, the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) agreed to transition away from fossil fuels, triple renewable power and double energy efficiency by 2030.

The right talent with the right skills will be key to the energy transition. Spencer Ogden set the standard; we were the first recruitment business to focus on the renewables sector which accounts for over 70% of our business.

Along with Sustainability our other two core sectors; Natural Resources and Infrastructure are a continuing part of the energy value chain. The global energy transition is an extremely important and ambitious undertaking, and our depth of experience enables us to partner with and advise our clients who are on this journey.
