Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Civil Design Engineer III with a focus on nuclear projects to join our team in Seneca. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on civil design aspects of nuclear facilities. This role will involve working closely with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and reviewing civil design plans for nuclear facilities
- Performing structural analysis and calculations
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil design, with a focus on nuclear projects
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro or SAP2000
- Strong understanding of nuclear safety standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
