Commissioning Engineer

We are currently seeking 2 x Commissioning Engineers for a major transmission substation project based at Creag Dhubh. This is a 4-month contract opportunity working on high-voltage infrastructure within a live transmission environment.
Key Responsibilities
Commissioning and testing of 132/220/400kV substations
Testing of CTs and VTs
Checking and verification of protection schemes, including Busbar Protection
Interface testing of Transformers, Circuit Breakers, Reactors, and GIS
Carrying out Primary Injection and Secondary Injection testing
Supporting commissioning documentation, fault finding, and energisation activities
Requirements
Proven experience in HV/EHV transmission substation commissioning
Strong understanding of protection and control systems
Previous experience on National Grid or similar transmission projects preferred
Ability to work independently within a commissioning team environment
