Commissioning Engineer - TP141

Main purposes of the role:

Ensure that electrical systems function in compliance with design specifications, are installed and commissioned in compliance with industry standards and TP141 procedures and are safe to operate.

Report to Site Manager or Project Manager in relation to delivery of project scope in line with programme and budget.

Duty of care for themselves and all individuals on site to ensure that they work safely at all times.

Key tasks

Plan and perform all tests required to verify correct functioning of electrical systems and equipment installed within the project, including preparation of ITPs and Commissioning Switching Programmes.

Act as a TP141 authorised Commissioning Engineer, undertaking commissioning activities accepted by the Client Commissioning Panel.

Document all performed tests in compliance with required quality standards and specific project requirements.

Key results / objectives

All activities at site performed safely.

All electrical systems installed in the project are proven to be working in line with technical specification.

Ensure own work is executed on Time to the required Quality & within allocated Budget. Plan work forward to ensure availability of required engineering information, plant, materials tools and test equipment, to successfully deliver tasks.
