About the Opportunity


We are partnering with a growing renewable fuels and commodity trading platform supporting the global transition towards lower-carbon transportation and energy solutions to appoint a Contract Executive to support its commercial operations team in Singapore.


This position sits within a regional team supporting trading, operations, finance, legal, and commercial stakeholders across multiple markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the full contract lifecycle, ensuring contractual compliance, documentation accuracy, and smooth execution of commercial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, review, execution, amendments, and close-out
  • Coordinate with commercial, operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure contractual terms are accurately implemented
  • Support contract negotiations and identify potential commercial and contractual risks
  • Maintain contract repositories, version control, and documentation audit trails
  • Oversee trade-related documentation and ensure alignment with contractual obligations and operational requirements
  • Liaise with counterparties, inspectors, terminals, and service providers to resolve documentation and execution-related matters
  • Support internal process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, transparency, and operational controls
  • Assist with sustainability, compliance, and regulatory documentation requirements where applicable

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience within commodity trading, energy, oil & gas, biofuels, or related sectors
  • Proven experience managing contracts from drafting through execution and administration
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts, General Terms & Conditions (GTCs), Incoterms, and trade documentation
  • Experience supporting cross-functional stakeholders across trading, operations, finance, and legal teams
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and documentation management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced commercial environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Experience with sustainability-related documentation or regulated commodity markets would be advantageous
