Location: New York City, NY

Start Date: June 12, 2026

Pay Rate: $200,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Development to lead our fundraising efforts and drive growth for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully securing major gifts, cultivating donor relationships, and implementing strategic development plans. This role will involve overseeing all aspects of fundraising and development, including donor stewardship, grant writing, and event planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet annual revenue goals
  • Cultivate relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners
  • Lead a team of development professionals and provide guidance and support
  • Identify new funding opportunities and partnerships to support organizational growth
  • Manage donor communications and stewardship activities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or development
  • Demonstrated success in securing major gifts and grants
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
