A growing renewable energy developer is seeking a Director of Origination to lead project sourcing and support pipeline growth across targeted markets. This individual will be responsible for developing origination strategy, evaluating new opportunities, and managing early-stage development activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead origination efforts and support pipeline growth initiatives
- Evaluate new markets and development opportunities
- Oversee prospecting, site identification, and landowner engagement activities
- Partner with internal teams to advance projects through early-stage development
- Develop processes, reporting tools, and market intelligence to support decision-making
- Manage and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project origination, land acquisition, development, or related infrastructure sectors
- Experience evaluating markets and sourcing development opportunities
- Strong understanding of project development and commercial considerations
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
