Job Description: Package Manager – Electro
Role Overview and Key Responsibilities
For an important BESS project around Cottbus, we are looking for a Package Manager
Electro.
Min 10 years experience
Availability to travel as necessary
Availability to spend time on site during installation and cold commissioning. (Mo-Fr / 8h)
German and English is a must.
Duration of project 12-18 months.
Role Overview and Key Responsibilities
The Package Manager for Electro is responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical
installation, cabling and termination until cold commissioning of electrical systems, (MVLV-Control) equipment, and prefab building within assigned projects.
This role involves close coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction
teams to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and compliance with project
specifications.
Key responsibilities include developing detailed work package, coordinating supplier onsite works, and monitoring progress against project milestones. All in cooperation with the
Project Manager and Site Manager responsible.
The Package Manager will also be tasked with resolving technical issues, reporting to
responsible project manager and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards
throughout the lifecycle of package delivery.
The Package Manager will ensure definition of components, accompany FATs, ensure
installation on site until cold commissioning.
Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and
equipment, proven project management experience, and excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards is essential, as is the ability to work
collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
