Primary Expertise (Mandatory)
Strong expertise in Electrical Protection Systems for power generation, transmission, distribution, or industrial applications.
Key Competencies
Protection relay application, configuration, testing, and commissioning (e.g., GE, Siemens, ABB).
Protection coordination studies and selectivity analysis.
Short-circuit, load flow, and arc-flash studies.
Development and review of protection philosophies, settings calculations, and protection schemes.
Design and validation of MV/HV electrical systems.
Fault analysis, root cause investigation, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of international standards and grid codes (IEC, IEEE, utility requirements).
Interface management with engineering, commissioning, and customer teams.
Ability to support FAT, SAT, site commissioning, and operational issue resolution.
Nice to Have
Experience with Power Conversion Systems (PCS), including converters, drives, excitation systems.
Knowledge of power electronics, control systems, and grid integration studies.
Experience in hydropower, renewable energy, or large industrial power projects.
Preferred Profile
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience in protection engineering within power generation, transmission, distribution, or Energy Balance of Plant (eBOP) projects.
Strong analytical skills, customer focus, and ability to work in multidisciplinary international teams.
