Finance Executive

Location: Taipei, Taiwan

An international renewable energy developer is seeking a Finance Executive to support its Taiwan operations. This position will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, reporting and finance administration activities across multiple local entities, while partnering closely with regional stakeholders across Asia.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and full sets of accounts for multiple Taiwan entities
  • Support monthly closing activities, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and management reporting requirements
  • Prepare financial analysis, cashflow reporting and forecast updates to support operational and funding activities
  • Process supplier invoices, payment runs and employee expense claims in accordance with internal controls and approval processes
  • Maintain supplier and customer records within internal finance systems
  • Coordinate invoicing activities, revenue accruals and receivables collection with internal stakeholders
  • Support financing-related matters including banking documentation and coordination with financial institutions
  • Liaise with external accounting and tax service providers on statutory reporting, tax submissions and compliance matters
  • Coordinate year-end audit activities and ensure timely completion of audit requirements
  • Support ad-hoc finance initiatives including due diligence exercises, data compilation and operational projects where required

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
  • Approximately 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
  • Experience managing full sets of accounts and financial reporting activities
  • Prior experience within multinational or regional business environments preferred
  • Background from audit or professional services firms would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with accounting systems and bookkeeping processes
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Detail-oriented, reliable and organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with a practical and hands-on approach to work
