Lead Planner - Frankfurt

Planning Lead – Life Science / Construction

  • Lead the overall planning and scheduling activities for complex construction and Life Science projects
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve integrated project schedules across all project phases
  • Define project structures, work packages, key milestones, interfaces, and dependencies
  • Establish clear Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and corresponding scheduling frameworks
  • Ensure close alignment between construction activities, procurement, contracting, and project controls
  • Set up reliable schedule baselines and manage regular updates based on actual project progress
  • Monitor critical path activities and identify potential delays, risks, and schedule constraints
  • Coordinate and facilitate planning and progress meetings with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal project teams
  • Manage schedule interfaces and support the resolution of conflicts between different disciplines and project stakeholders
  • Review, challenge, and validate schedules submitted by suppliers, contractors, and other third parties
  • Prepare regular schedule and progress reports, including deviations, risks, and recommended mitigation measures
  • Support the integration of schedule and cost performance, including the application of Earned Value Management where required
  • Provide clear visibility of project progress at both detailed and management level
  • Work closely with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Project Controls teams
  • Experience with Commissioning, Qualification & Validation (CQV) processes is required for selected projects
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Previous experience within Life Science, Pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated construction environments is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of professional planning and scheduling tools, particularly Primavera P6, is preferred
