Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our team in Bristol. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining mechanical systems within buildings to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and engineering mechanical systems for building projects
  • Conducting site surveys and assessments to identify project requirements
  • Developing cost-effective solutions that meet client needs and regulatory standards
  • Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical building services engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Membership in a relevant professional organization (e.g. CIBSE, ASHRAE)
