Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Multiple, United Kingdom. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment in various industrial settings. Having hands on experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with a variety of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
